Hi-de-ho, kids. The Tent went up on time and with a minimum of fuss, bigger and better than ever! Gradually, the Tent has come to house a variety of important functions at the festival. It is the H.Q. of the Information Booth --

and serves as our primary merchandising outlet as well!

This year, we added food sampling with some of the region's tastiest innovators --

who plied all of us with treats all weekend long! (The little burritos? The gluten-free cupcakes? Yeah.)

Here directors, participants, activists, filmgoers, movers and shakers, and just plain curious folks all mingled together and addressed the issues raised by the films of BIFF 2013. In rapid succession, audiences, guests, and BIFF facilitators moved in and out, forming knots of discussion that lingered outside in the pleasant afternoon.
